Cleco partners with the Village of Elizabeth for ‘Bloom into Spring’ event

Today, Cleco employees volunteered with the Village of Elizabeth as part of the company’s Done in a Day program.
Cleco’s Done in a Day program furthers the company’s partnerships with charitable organizations across its service territory, as well as provides an opportunity for its employees to get involved in the community. Through the program, Cleco works with charitable organizations who request assistance with a project that can be completed within one day or a few hours.
Volunteers worked to beautify the Elizabeth Town Hall by planting flowers, putting down mulch and installing a new sign at A.B. Finke Park.
“It is an honor to be able to serve our local communities,” said Sabrina Salling, governmental services representative at Cleco. “These are the communities where we live and work. We are excited to be able to give back.”
“I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to Cleco and its employees who have played a crucial role in giving back to rural communities,” said Mandy Green, Mayor of Elizabeth. “No matter the circumstances, Cleco’s dedication and tireless efforts have continued to make a profound difference in the Village of Eizabeth.”
