Cleco employees met their Giving Tuesday donation goal and raised $65,000 in 24 hours for 74 different nonprofit organizations across Louisiana. 
 
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement created in 2012 to encourage people to do good. The Tuesday following Thanksgiving is the day people and organizations all around the world come together to support causes they love through volunteerism, fundraising and more. 

“It is incredible to see the passion that Cleco employees have for charitable causes around them,” said Shane Hilton, chief commercial officer of Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC. “Especially during the holiday season, it is amazing to see so many people come together to care for the communities that they call home.”
