Cleco restores power to 40 percent of customers
Damage assessment and power restoration efforts continue
Cleco is continuing to assess damage, make system repairs and restore power after Hurricane Francine made landfall on Louisiana’s coast as a Category 2 Hurricane leaving approximately 37,000 customers without power.
“Our hardest hit parishes were Iberia, St. Mary and St. Tammany,” said Clint Robichaux, director of distribution operations and reliability. “Our crews were mobilized early this morning and have restored power to roughly 15,000 customers, and we are continuing to make progress.”
