Power restored to 82 percent of customers in St. Tammany and Washington parishes
Cleco provides more restoration estimates
PINEVILLE, La. – Sept. 5, 2021 (6 p.m.) – As of 6 p.m., Cleco has restored power to roughly 80,283, or 82 percent, of the 97,773 customers in St. Tammany and Washington parishes affected by Hurricane Ida.
Restoration Estimates
Below are estimated times for restoration (ETR). Additional ETRs will be shared, as they become available. Please note that unexpected damage or inclement weather could impact restoration efforts and timelines.
St. Tammany Parish
Slidell
- Full restoration is expected by Tuesday, Sept. 7.
- Power will be restored to Chamale Cove by tonight, Sunday, Sept. 5.
- Crews continue to work in Lakewood subdivision. There are several broken poles and damaged transformers. Full ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 7.
- Power has been restored to the Palm Lake area.
- Bayou Liberty Road area to Coin du Lestin – ETR is tonight, Sunday, Sept. 5.
- At peak, 40,000 customers in Slidell were without power. Power has been restored to all but approximately 2,500 customers. Cleco expects this number to go down more by tonight, Sunday, Sept. 5.
