Cleco moving additional resources to St. Tammany and Washington parishes
Crews should complete damage assessment by Thursday
PINEVILLE, La. – Aug. 31, 2021 (4:30 p.m.) – As Hurricane Ida restoration efforts wrap up in Iberia and St. Mary parishes, additional resources are being redirected to St. Tammany and Washington parishes.
“By tonight, 90 percent of our Ida response teams, including Cleco workers, contractors and mutual assistance teams, will be in St. Tammany and Washington parishes,” said Clint Robichaux, manager of distribution operations support. “Initially, we estimated that our damage assessment efforts would be complete in the next three to four days, but with extra resources, we believe we’ll have the majority of our damage reports complete by Thursday allowing us to offer customers information on the extent of system repairs and provide a restoration timeframe.”
