Hurricane Delta Storm Restoration Updates for Rapides and Grant Parishes
PINEVILLE, La. – Oct. 10, 2020 – As of 7 p.m., a combined total of 21,879 customers in Rapides and Grant parishes were without power due to Hurricane Delta.
“Our customers in central Louisiana have experienced back-to-back hurricanes, so we know this is difficult. We have personnel assessing damage, working on the power lines, clearing debris and trimming trees in this two-parish area,” said James Lass, director of distribution operations and emergency management. “These two parishes received heavy rainfall, and as a result, there is significant flooding which has impacted our progress. Crews will continue working to restore power to as many customers as possible today.”
