PINEVILLE, La. – Sept. 8, 2020 – As of noon, Cleco had restored power to 95 percent of the customers impacted by Hurricane Laura. 

Restoration Assessment

Below are estimated times for restoration (ETR).  Please note that unexpected damage or inclement weather could impact restoration efforts and timelines. 

Beauregard Parish

• Deridder
  • In the past three days, 25 crews have been added to the restoration effort.  It is estimated that restoration will be a multi-week event. 
• Merryville
  • Crews have restored power to some customers and added additional resources to the area.  ETR is another week before all customers have power. 

Calcasieu Parish (Dequincy)

• Repairs to the system and restoration of power efforts continue. Over the past three days, 37 crews have been added to the restoration effort. 

Grant Parish

• Pollock and Camp Hardtner area
  • Crews are working on Tarpley to Penn Darvis Road.  ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
  • Hwy. 165 ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
  • Crews are working on Hwy. 123.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10. 
• Bentley
  • Grays Creed Road and Frazier Cemetery Road ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
  • Rob Wallace and Albert Rambo Road area ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
  • Dry Prong Creek Road ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
  • Liberty Chapel Road ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8
  • Willet Road ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
  • Power restored to most customers on Parsonage Road.  Crews are working on Grays Creek Road from Hwy. 8 down to Parsonage Road.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
  • Oak Grove Church ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
• Iatt Lake area
  • Crews working on Hwy. 122 to Hogg Island and Abe’s Landing.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
  • Crews are working on upper portion of Iatt Lake Dame Road.  ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
  • Hydes Landing ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8

Rapides Parish

• Gardner and Otis
  • Crews working along Hwy. 1199 to Owen Miller Road.  ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
  • Crews working on Cutts Road.  ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
  • Crews working on R. Goldman Road.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
  • Crews working on Miller Road north of Hwy. 28 W.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10. 
  • ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10 for the following areas:
    • Timberland Park and Hickory Hill subdivisions
    • Along Hwy. 1200 up to Hwy. 121 and on Miller Road down to Hwy. 28 W
    • Hoyt Road and Bob Nichols Road
• Hineston
  • Crews working on Miller Road north of Hwy. 28 W and Teekel Road.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
• Boyce area
  • Crews are working along Rock Quarry Road, Old Hwy. 1 and Red Bayou Road.  ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.
  • Crews are working on Hwy. 121.  ETR is Wednesday, Sept. 9.
  • Alexandria Street ETR is Tuesday, Sept. 8.
• Flatwoods
  • Power restored to 95 percent of customers on Clifton Road.  ETR for remaining customers is Tuesday, Sept. 8. 
  • Pine Coupee and Mora Roads ETR is Thursday, Sept. 10.

Vernon Parish

• Lee Hill subdivision
  • Crews have been working and additional resources allocated to this area.  Power restored to some customers.  Crews are working to repair 10 broken poles and restore power to remaining customers.  ETR for all customers is Thursday, Sept. 10.
• Leesville (with the exception of Lee Hill subdivision)
  • Power restored to all customers who accept it.
• Kurthwood community
  • Power restored to all customers who accept it.
