Pineville, La. (12 p.m.) – Cleco has restored power to nearly 4,000 customers while working to make repairs to its equipment and system following this morning’s severe storms in St. Tammany Parish.

“In addition to local Cleco crews and resources, we have brought in Cleco personnel from unaffected areas and nearly 200 contractors to help repair damaged equipment, cut fallen trees, clear limbs from lines and other work needed to continue restoring power to our customers,” said James Lass, general manager of distribution operations and emergency management.
