Corporate Contributions

At Cleco, we strive to support the communities in which we live, work and serve. Because aligning the corporation's charitable contributions with our corporate strategy is important to us, contribution requests that support the following areas will be given highest priority:

  • Community: Defined as low-income initiatives, local food banks, senior citizens programs, festivals, city events or organizations (police and fire departments, etc.), chamber of commerce and youth events (baseball, softball teams, etc.) and other sports events not sponsored by a school.
  • Education: Defined as donations to support school sponsored academics, arts and athletics including advertising in yearbooks and athletic field signs.
  • Agency: Defined as community and health support systems.
  • Arts: Defined as museums, theater and other events associated with the arts and not sponsored by a school.

Cleco and its employees provide significant support to the annual local United Way campaign; therefore, additional support to individual United Way agencies will be limited.
