Community Involvement
We support and participate in a number of organizations, community events and fundraising throughout our service territory, including those in which our employees volunteer their time and talents. Some of the organizations we support include, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes, the Salvation Army and the United Way of Central Louisiana.
We also hold a yearly fan drive for the elderly with parish Councils on Aging that serve our customers.
Power of Sharing Fund
Cleco's Power of Sharing Fund has helped economically disadvantaged seniors and disabled citizens pay their energy bills since 1985. Cleco, customers and employees contribute, allowing Louisiana Councils on Aging agencies to assist those in need. To find out qualifications for assistance, contact your local Council on Aging.To donate, select an option on your statement for $1, $2, or $5 to go to The Power of Sharing Fund.
